Its mission is to train qualified secondary school teachers in technical specialties (in partnership with France), to prepare for the Aptitude Certificate to secondary school teaching (CAPES, called also 5th year), and to insure the continuing training of teachers in the domain of technical teaching. The ENSET also offers training to high technicians destined to the job market in the specialties of high-level technology. Admission Terms: The agrégation career - The 1st year of the cycle preparing for the highest competitive examination for teachers is open to students having passed the National competitive examination allowing access to the Engineer Schools or having passed a competitive test open to graduates of the 1st cycle of Higher education (or equivalent) in the required specialties.   - The 2nd year of the cycle preparing for the highest competitive examination for teachers is open by way of a competitive examination to teachers having graduated from the two ENSETs or equivalent establishments, or having had experience/practice for over 4 years. These careers essentially concern: -         Mechanical Engineering with its two options - Mechanical Construction - Mechanical Manufacturing -         Electronic Engineering with its two options: - Electronics - Electrical Engineering CAPES Career (5th year) Specialties open by way of a competitive examination (High school diploma + 4) announced by the department of National Education on specialties depending on the need for teachers, and according to the conditions determined by a ministerial note. BTS/HTD Careers The cycle of a diploma of high technician (HTD/BTS) is open to holders of a high school diploma (bacheliers) under 23 years old (as of the 31st december of the year in progress) and having been selected on the basis of an examination of the student’s file. This operation is regulated according to a procedure detrmined by a ministerial note published every year and circulated at the national level. For information only, the high school diplomas required by each of the existing specialties are: Career in Administrative Techniques (AT/TA) Technical high school diploma and Administrative Management. Career in Computer Engineering (CE/GI) High school diploma in Electronics, Electrical engineering, Sciences and Tehniques, Mathematical Sciences, Experimental Sciences, Economic Sciences, Techniques and Accounting Management. Career in Industrial Automation High school diploma in Mechanical Production, Sciences and Techniques. Career in Energetics (EN) High school diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Sciences and Techniques, Mechanical Production, Mathematical Sciences. Career in Industrial Product Design High school diploma in Mechanical Production, Sciences and Techniques. Degrees delivered: Agrégation CAPES in technical specialties Diploma of a High Technician (BTS) The ENSET is also a local academy (CISCO) and delivers the CCNA certificate. Duration of Studies: Agrégation: * 3 years for holders of the high school diploma + 2 (CPGE-TSI or equivalent) * 2 years for 2nd cycle high school teachers CAPES: 1 year for holders of the high school diploma + 4 BTS: 2 years after the high school diploma Openings and Prospects: Agrégation: Teaching in technical high schools, in CPGE centers, in BTS classes, in establishments for the training of executives or higher education. CAPES: Teaching in high schools BTS: working in firms or pursuing graduate studies, ... Value of studies: Content of training: classes, tutorial class (TD) and Practical work (TP), industrial and pedagogical trainings, company visits. Criteria of sanctioning the training: ·  French examination for the candidates for the agrégation ·  Exam for the CAPES ·  National exam for the BTS. Scholarships: ·  547 Dhs/month for the candidates for the agrégation ·  713 Dhs/month for those registered in the CAPES or in the 3rd year of the     Agrégation. ·  Higher education scholarships for the BTS (normal procedure of granting) ·  Retention of salary for teachers Reception terms: possibility of accomodation and catering at the school premises.
